Dealing with Insurance Company Suppliers – how we can help?

Insurance companies use suppliers to try and settle building and contents claims – this can range from an electrical supplier through to using their own building contractors, surveyors and project managers. Whilst this is advertised by mainstream insurers as a way of helping, more often than not this complicates the claim process and ends in the policyholder having multiple visits and phone calls where one would suffice. The most common building providers are Asprea who aim to manage all of Aviva’s claims up to £100,000. Most policy holders are not aware that they do not have to use the insurer’s supplier and there a many instances where the insurer cannot enforce this.
