Policyholders who use a loss assessor typically receive significantly higher settlements than those who go it alone.

Unhappy with your insurer’s settlement offer?

A low offer is the insurer’s opening position, not the final word. If you’re partway through a claim and the figure being offered doesn’t reflect the true cost of putting things right, get in touch before agreeing to anything, we can review it and, where appropriate, challenge the settlement on your behalf.

      Frequently Asked Questions

How is a loss assessor different from my insurer’s loss adjuster?

A loss adjuster is appointed and paid for by your insurance company, and their role is to protect the insurer’s interests. A loss assessor is hired by you, the policyholder, and works exclusively on your behalf to secure the settlement you’re actually owed.

Do I need a loss assessor if my claim hasn’t been rejected yet?

You don’t have to wait for a problem. Many clients bring us in from the very start of a claim, before the loss adjuster’s first visit, so the case is presented correctly from day one rather than corrected after an initial low offer.

What types of claims can ICS help with?

We handle fire, flood, theft, drainage, impact, and commercial claims, and we can step in at any stage, whether you’re just starting a claim or already partway through negotiations with your insurer.

How quickly can you start on my claim?

We aim to respond to every enquiry within two hours, and a senior assessor will typically be able to attend your property or begin work on your case within 24 hours of taking it on.
